This means that we can expect the squad of each franchise to have a very different look once the 2019 IPL season comes around. There are many big-name players that are up for grabs right now.
But with all the focus being on the players who have been released, little attention has been given to the players who have been retained and how each squard currently looks ahead of the IPL auction.
Let us take a look at the players who the Delhi Daredevils have decided to keep as part of their squad for the next season as they seek to win their first title. While some players have been dropped, many veterans of the squad remain and will continue to form part of the core that the Delhi Daredevils seem to have identified.

While there are some familiar faces in the squad, it seems almost a certainty that the franchise will be going for a bold new team combination during the next IPL season.
The retained players are all immensely talented and a lot of them have international experience as well. This could mean that the franchise might be looking at opting for a more experienced squad during next year's IPL season to help guide them to the trophy.
