After losing three games on the trot, Kings XI Punjab will host Kolkata Knight Riders at Mohali for another thrilling contest. The hosts will be desperate to get back to winning ways while the Knight Riders have to win the remaining games somehow if they want to seal their playoff berth. We can expect another intriguing encounter when both these teams will battle it out for the second time this season. KKR registered a 28-run victory when both the sides last met at the Eden Gardens.

Kings XI Punjab have had a forgettable campaign so far in this edition of the Indian Premier League. After a promising start in the tournament, the hosts are struggling to finish in the top four. With five wins and seven defeats in their twelve league fixtures, Kings XI Punjab is languishing at the second last spot on the points table. Ashwin and Co will be hoping to land a counterpunch when they take on the Knight Riders tomorrow night. There is still an outside chance for the Punjab franchise given they win all their remaining games.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders are having the same kind of topsy-turvy season, to say the least. Having won five games out of their 12 outings, the Purple Army is reeling at the sixth spot with 10 league points. The Knight Riders will be disappointed to miss out in the playoff race as they have played some scintillating cricket in the past few weeks. Another Andre Russell special came to their rescue and helped them pick up two points against Mumbai Indians, making sure the two-time IPL champions stay alive in the tournament.
