IPL 2019: Match 29, KKR vs CSK, Match Prediction: Who will win today's match?

Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings are two of the most successful franchises in the history of the IPL. In the reverse fixture at Chennai this week, CSK came out on top against KKR team. Dinesh Karthik's men would be hoping to get revenge when they host CSK at Eden Gardens on Sunday in match 29 of IPL 2019.

CSK has further improved their head to head record against KKR by registering a win this week. Now they have won 12 matches and lost just seven against the two-time IPL champions.

The hosts KKR has done well in this tournament but their team seems to be a bit overdependent on Andre Russell. While the West Indian is a brilliant cricketer, you can't rely on just one player to beat a team like CSK.

CSK is arguably the most successful franchise in the history of the IPL. The defending champions have been fantastic throughout the tournament and no one would be betting against them to defend their title.

If CSK bat first

CSK has displayed some brilliant cricket throughout the tournament but they do have a chink in their armor. The top-order of CSK has failed to deliver consistently this season. The form of MS Dhoni has ensured that CSK has not suffered a lot due to the poor form of their top-order.

If the top-order can find their feet in Eden Gardens, CSK can put a score of around 180-190 on the board.

If KKR bat first

KKR collapsed against CSK in Chennai earlier this week. At one stage, they were struggling to even post a score of 100 on the board. Andre Russell has been fantastic throughout the tournament but others must rise to the occasion again.

Dinesh Karthik would be hoping that top-order can contribute to their team's cause vs CSK. KKR should be able to post a score of around 180-190 in front of the home crowd.
