7) Kings XI Punjab: Lokesh Rahul

Why Lokesh Rahul isn't yet a superstar is quite baffling. He is one player who has the temperament and technique to be an all-format player, and T20s are one format where he has definitely shown his abilities.
The IPL 2018 was a superb tournament for Rahul, who hit 659 runs at a stellar average of 54.91 (strike rate of 158.41), playing for an otherwise lacklustre side in Kings XI Punjab. Even Chris Gayle's one-off acts were mere spectators to Rahul's explosive consistency.
Starting well during the powerplay overs is pivotal for IPL success, and Rahul's performance is important to give the Kings XI a quick start to build on. The beauty about Rahul is that he takes very few risks aerially, while still maintaining a 150+ strike rate, making him score big runs consistently.
