For the last few seasons, David Miller has been KXIP's underperforming foreign player, as the South African just doesn't seem to learn from his previous mistakes. Right now, every captain knows his struggles with spin and Miller just gives into that ploy every now and then.

The South African has scored just 213 runs in his 10 matches, averaging 26 and he has a strike rate of 129. Considering, he has played most of his matches at Mohali, a track which assists stroke play, this record looks worse when seen like that.

While Miller has been a long servant for Punjab, but his continues inconsistent displays could see him released from the franchise.

#5 Kolkata Knight Rides - Lockie Ferguson

The thing that has derailed KKR's challenge for the playoff spot is their bowling and one of the main reasons for their weak bowling attack is the lack of options they have in the fast bowling department.

Owing to that deficiency, Dinesh Karthik trusted an experienced New Zealand international to do the job but that hasn't panned out very well. Has it? Lockie Ferguson, in the 9 matches that he has played, has taken only 5 wickets and his economy rate of 9.20 doesn't help either.

Ferguson has been since dropped for Harry Gurney but Dinesh Karthik and KKR are still looking to find their best death bowling combination.
