Pawan Negi is an all rounder?

There are so many things that went wrong for Royal Challengers Bangalore this season. Many players can make it to this list, Akshdeep Nath, Marcus Stoinis, Tim Southee, and Colin de Grandhomme are all perfect contenders for the tag. However, Pawan Negi was the one who was the most underwhelming for the RCB side in this year's IPL. Negi, who is a quality spinner and an experienced player, having played IPL since 2012, is also an all-rounder.

Pawan Negi was inconsistent in the bowling department and hardly had anything to contribute to RCB's batting. Pawan Negi played seven matches for RCB and picked up only three wickets. Negi could have been the player providing those few extra runs as an all-rounder but failed to do his duties. Negi managed to score only nine runs in his seven matches. Negi's performance for the team could have helped Chahal as well, who was the lone warrior in the spin bowling department.
