The Indian Premier League fever is back as the Board of Control for Cricket in India just announced the schedule for the first two weeks of the 2019 season of the grand tournament. Due to the General Elections which are due to take place as well, the entire schedule was not released.
Also, the BCCI did state that they would "address any issues with the first two weeks and will also prepare a schedule for the remainder of the season working with the local authorities around the polling dates."
They also mentioned that the schedule was subject to the announcement of the election dates by the Lok Sabha.
The first match of the tournament is scheduled on March 23 and will take place between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The second day of the tournament will be a double-header, with the first match taking place between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the second match between the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals.

As of now, the final match of the schedule which has been released so far will be between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Kolkata Knight Riders at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 5.
All teams apart from Delhi and Bangalore would be playing two home games and two away games each in the first two weeks. Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals would be playing 3 home games whereas the Royal Challengers Bangalore will be playing 3 away games.
