The 24 year old all-rounder could be the all-rounder who Sunrisers Hyderabad might target in the 2019 IPL. Shakib Al Hasan will miss the 2020 IPL season and Allen could be his replacement for the Hyderabad franchise.

Allen bowls slow left- arm orthodox spin and is an aggressive batsman in the death overs. He made his international debut in October, 2018 in India but is yet to make an impact on the international level.

He has made rapid strides in the Caribbean Premier League and is an excellent fielder. In domestic T20 cricket, Allen has an exceptional strike rate of 168.51 with the bat. He has an economy of 7.52 with the ball in domestic T20 cricket and can contain the scoring of runs in the middle order.

Allen is a relatively unknown name in the IPL and he will look to replicate the performances of his fellow Caribbean team mates and make a name for himself in the most lucrative T20 league in the world.
