India has been the land of spinners and Ravi Bishnoi is the latest sensation. Bishnoi is a right-arm leg-spinner who is performing well in the U19 World Cup.

In just four games Bishnoi has picked up 11 wickets at an average of 9.55 and an economy rate of 3.28. These numbers are staggering for any bowler. Against Japan, he had phenomenal numbers. He started the match with two double-wicket maidens. At the end of the game, his figures were 8-3-5-4. His epic performance resulted in Japan being bowled out for just 41 runs.

Kings XI Punjab picked him up for ₹ 2 Crores in this year’s IPL auction. Wrist-spinners have always been successful in the IPL and Bishnoi can do well for a team like KXIP who will miss the services of R Ashwin. Ravi Bishnoi might get a lot of opportunities with the Punjab team and there is a high possibility that he will do a great job.
