There was a lot of buzz about Chennai Super Kings needing fresh legs in their squad after their defeat in the final last season. However, the franchise resisted any such temptations and did not make any big changes in the squad. But the inclusion of Sam Curran, Piyush Chawla, and Josh Hazlewood will surely provide more options to Dhoni.
CSK has always relied on the star-power and experience but if we look at their side, especially the batting line-up, there are a lot of aging stars whose performances cannot be guaranteed. The 3-times champions will have their task cut out in IPL 2020.
