Jaiswal scored 564 runs in only six games that he played for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, at an average of 112.80 and strike rate of 104.05.

The left-hander seems to be at ease when he faces the fast bowlers as he has got a lot of time on the back foot to play his shots square of the wicket on both sides. He is also a good user of his feet against the spinners, and is very effective with the sweep shot as well.
