Ravindra Jadeja was bought by Chennai Super Kings for an extravagant sum of $2,000,000 ahead of IPL 2012. $1 was equivalent to ₹53.44 in 2012. If converted into rupees, then Jadeja received approximately ₹10.7 crores.

The left-handed all-rounder has accumulated 1821 runs at an average of 23.64 in 154 matches. He also has 93 wickets to his name with an economy rate of 7.76.

Jadeja has become a vital cog of the CSK line-up. His contribution with the bat was not significant last season and he will be looking to come out all guns blazing in IPL 2019.

The very next year, he fetched a bid of ₹16 crores from Delhi Daredevils during the 2015 IPL auctions - making him the most expensive player in the history of IPL.

Yuvraj has scored a total of 2652 runs in 128 IPL matches at an average of 24.78 and strike rate of 129.68. Besides this, the Chandigarh-born player has 36 wickets to his name in his IPL career. Kings XI Punjab, Pune Warriors India, and Sunrisers Hyderabad are the other IPL franchises Yuvraj has represented besides Delhi Daredevils and RCB.

The Sixer King will be seen playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2019.
