Jos Butler is one of the most feared batsmen in world cricket. The English wicket-keeper batsman can take the game away from the opposition in the blink of an eye. The right-hander didn't have a good start to his IPL career as he failed to get big scores for MI.

He managed to register just one fifty in two seasons with the franchise. Then Rajasthan Royals stepped in and bought the dashing batsman ahead of the IPL 2018. Earlier in the season, Butler struggled in the middle order but everything changed when he was asked to open the innings.

Since then, the RR star has scored eight half-centuries for the franchise. The English batsman has scored those runs at a strike-rate of more 150 which reduces pressure on other batsmen in the team. It is fair to say that opportunity to open the innings has brought the best out of Butler and he has surely blossomed after leaving MI.
