The Mumbai Indians have won the toss and elected to field first against the Rising Pune Supergiant in the first playoff of the tournament at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga and Parthiv Patel make their way back to the MI line-up while Lockie Ferguson makes way for Ben Stokes for RPS. The winner of the match will go on to the final which will take place in Hyderabad on May 21st, 2017.
