After his maiden century in IPL, co-incidentally Hashim Amla scored the same runs from the same number of balls -104 (60) - against Gujarat Lions. He also became the third batsman to score two or more tons in a single IPL season.
Amla smashed eight boundaries and five huge sixes to smack a century for the second time in his t20 career. He sped up his innings after reaching the 50-run mark and reached his second 50 in just 25 balls. His innings helped Punjab reach a defend-able total of 189.
