Mitchell Marsh is a professional cricket all-rounder who has represented Australia’s cricket team across all international formats. He was born on October 20, 1991 in Attadale, Western Australia. He came from a sports background family, as his father Geoff Marsh and elder brother Shaun Marsh are also former cricketers. His sister Melissa Marsh is a former basketball player. Marsh started his domestic career at the age of 17 for the Warriors in 2009. Marsh made his international debut against South Africa in a T20I game on October 16, 2011. He made his ODI debut on October 19, 2011 against the same opposition.
Mitchell Marsh has started playing test cricket for Australia in 2014. He has also featured in various T20 leagues around the world like Big Bash League (BBL), Indian Premier League (IPL), Major League Cricket (MLC), etc. In the IPL, he started his career with Deccan Chargers in 2010. He is playing for the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2025.

He missed the 2012 season due to back injury. In 2016, he played for the Rising Pune Supergiants under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
Mitchell Marsh did not featured in the IPL from 2017 to 2019 and played just one game for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2020. Delhi Capitals (earlier known as Delhi Daredevils) drafted him in for the IPL 2022. He was associated with the DC franchise for three years (2022-2024). In the IPL 2025 auction, Lucknow Super Giants acquired Mitchell Marsh for INR 3.4 crores.
