#11 Lasith Malinga

The fourth overseas player of the 'Most Dangerous IPL XI' would be Sri Lanka's fast bowler Lasith Malinga. The deadly pacer came into limelight when he made his International debut. He has been the most successful bowler for his country in the shortest format of the game as he has bagged 92 wickets in just 69 T20Is.

Having made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians in 2009, he played a crucial role with the ball in MI's victories. Malinga, who is currently the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, has taken 154 wickets in 110 games at a breathtaking average of 19.01 and a majestic economy of 6.86. In 2011, he won the Purple Cap for taking 28 wickets in just 16 matches.
The right-arm pacer did not live up to the expectation in 2017 as he picked up just 11 wickets in 12 games at an average of about 35. He was then released ahead of 2018 IPL and went unsold in the 2018 IPL auction.
