Defending champions Mumbai Indians will start the 2018 campaign against Chennai Super Kings at the fortress, Wankhede Stadium on April 7, 2018.

Mumbai Indians retained Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah at the auctions and then used their right to match card to rope in Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard.

They spent 46.35 crores to add 22 players to their roster.

All but three matches start at 8 pm as the defending champions will look to add another trophy to their cabinet with a new-look squad.

Newest recruit Evin Lewis will be the player to watch out at the top of the order as will be young wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan, who was bought for Rs.6.2 crores.

Also, the pace attack bears a very stable look with the likes of Mustafizur Rahman, Pat Cummins and Jason Behrendorff all set to share the ball with Jasprit Bumrah.
