IPL 2022: [Watch] Mike Hesson thanks RCB fans after the Unbox event

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team's Director of Cricket Operations, Mike Hesson, expressed gratitude for fans' unconditional love for the franchise after the Unboxing event on Saturday, in Bengaluru. A large crowd attended the event, where RCB unveiled their new skipper and their new jersey for the upcoming season.

As was expected, the team management appointed Faf du Plessis as captain for IPL 2022.

After the conclusion of the event, Mike Hesson took to his official Instagram handle to thank the fans for showering their love towards RCB. He posted the following video and captioned it:

RCB to begin IPL 2022 journey on March 27

The league stage of IPL 2022 will feature the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Group B with Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Bengaluru-based franchise will kick off their 2022 IPL campaign against the Punjab Kings on March 27 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
