India and Punjab Kings (PBKS) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal visited the Shree Salasar Balaji Mandir in Rajasthan on Tuesday, June 10, to seek blessings along with his family. The 34-year-old was last seen in action for PBKS during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Temple priest Arvind shared pictures of Chahal's visit to the Salasar Balaji Mandir on Instagram, captioning the post:
“Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal came to visit the Shri Balaji Maharaj along with his family, worshiped Balaji Maharaj. We wish him a bright future. Jai shree Balaji ki @yuzi_chahal23.”
Under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, Punjab Kings made it to their second-ever IPL final in the 2025 edition. However, they fell short by six runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the summit clash held on June 3 in Ahmedabad, missing out on their maiden title.
Meanwhile, Chahal featured in 14 matches this season, picking up 16 wickets at an average of 26.87 and an economy rate of 9.55. His best performance came with figures of 4/28. He continues to hold the record as the highest wicket-taker in IPL history, with 221 scalps in 174 matches, including one five-wicket haul.

Yuzvendra Chahal made his ODI debut for India against Zimbabwe in 2016. Since then, he has played 72 matches, with his most recent appearance in 2023. Over his ODI career, the leg-spinner has taken 121 wickets at an average of 27.13 and an economy rate of 5.26, including two five-wicket hauls.
In T20 internationals, Chahal has represented India in 80 matches, claiming 96 wickets at an average of 25.09 and an economy of 8.19, with one five-wicket haul to his name. He was also a member of the Indian team that lifted the 2024 T20 World Cup under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy.
