The RCB vs CSK contest is a virtual knockout encounter as the result will decide which team joins Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the playoffs.

For CSK, a win or a washout will be enough for them to book a berth in the top four of the points table and progress to the playoffs. Meanwhile, RCB must not only beat CSK but also surpass the defending champions on net run rate to seal a spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs.

While the contest promises to be an enthralling one, the weather could play dampener, as there's forecast for rain and thunderstorms in Bengaluru during match time. As we wait for the mega contest to get underway, we bring you latest updates from Chinnaswamy.
