Akash Madhwal bowled a terrific yorker to dismiss Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Harry Brook for a golden duck in the ongoing IPL 2023 match at the Wankhede Stadium. Madhwal ended his spell with Brook's wicket to emerge as the pick of the bowlers for the Mumbai Indians (MI) with figures of 4/37.

Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a brilliant start after Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma asked them to bat first. Mayank Agarwal and Vivrant Sharma added 140 runs for the first wicket. Akash Madhwal dismissed both the batters in the second half of the innings.

With Heinrich Klaasen, Aiden Markram, Glenn Phillips, and Harry Brook present in the middle-order, it seemed like SRH would cross the 210-run mark. However, Madhwal's magnificent bowling in the death overs kept them down to 200/5.

Madhwal bagged two more wickets in the 19th over. He first rattled the stumps of Heinrich Klaasen before taking Harry Brook's wicket with a perfect yorker.

Mumbai Indians need a win against the Sunrisers Hyderabad today to keep themselves alive in the race to the playoffs. A defeat against the Orange Army will bring an early end to their campaign.

Madhwal's four-wicket haul has kept SRH down to 200/5 despite a top-quality start. MI will aim to chase down the 201-run target quickly so that their net run rate receives a boost as well.

It will be interesting to see if Madhwal's four-wicket haul takes the Mumbai Indians to the next round.

MI have started well in the run-chase, scoring 50 runs in 5.2 overs. Ishan Kishan has lost his wicket, but Rohit Sharma is out there in the middle with Cameron Green at the time of writing.
