The fixing saga rolls on as the official website of the money-spinning T20 league has removed the Fair Play Award table. It is a further proof that all is not well within the BCCI and the IPL at the moment.

When the table was removed, ironically the top two teams leading the on Fair Play points table were Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Chennai Super Kings are currently embroiled in a controversy which could well see them terminated, as its CEO Gurunath Meiyappan is alleged to have links with a betting syndicate and was arrested in Mumbai last night. Rajasthan Royals too have had their share of problems when they had their three players arrested last week on alleged involvement of spot-fixing.

Traditionally, the Fair Play Award is given during each season of the IPL to the team with the best record of fair play. The winner is decided on the criteria of the points the umpires give to the teams at end of each match and the team with most aggregate points wins the award at the end of the season.

Despite all the controversies and the doubt over the franchise, sources within the BCCI has said CSK will participate in the IPL 6 final against Mumbai Indians on Sunday in Kolkata.
