With the IPL Auction not far away, the pressure is now on the franchises to build up their squads. In the second leg of the twelfth edition of the tournament, a lot of big stars might withdraw from their respective sides as the World Cup looms large.

In this segment, let us take a look at one Indian player each team should buy in the Auction.

#8 Chennai Super Kings - Mohit Sharma

Buying Indian players are certainly gonna help the teams like Chennai Super Kings who really don't have any slot for overseas players, with a lot of talent in the young and the released players, teams would have a secret eye on them.

In the 2015 period, when a lot of youngsters got a chance to represent their country because of IPL, the pick of them was Mohit Sharma. After the 2015 World Cup, he was surprisingly never considered for the Indian ODI team. He has played 84 matches in the IPL with the best figures of 4/14 and at a decent economy of 8.

Mohit played for Kings XI Punjab in the 2018 edition. He should now probably reunite with his old franchise CSK. He performed decently under the Dhoni led franchise in the 2013 to 2015 editions.

CSK, who have a settled batting line up, are in a search of a reliable back up bowler. With no overseas slot available for them, they would probably fight in the auction for the seamer from Haryana.

#7 Sunrisers Hyedrabad - Naman Ojha

Naman Ojha is one of the players who never got enough chances to represent his country. He has played one Test, one ODI and two T20Is thus far. The wicket-keeper batsman's performance in the IPL has been quite decent over the years. Apart from a highest score of 94, he also scored a brilliant 79 in the 2015 edition for the Hyderabad franchise.

After releasing Wriddhiman Saha and Shikhar Dhawan, the Sunrisers have to buy a reliable and stable wicket-keeper batsman in the opening slot. Naman can be the ideal choice for such a role.

#6 Kolkata Knight Riders - Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami is one of the most established pacers in the current Indian setup. After bursting on to the scene with a five-for, his career has progressed reasonably well. He was leading the Indian bowling attack in the 2015 World Cup and was the second leading wicket taker with 17 scalps in 7 matches.

Though his IPL career has been a short one, it has not been much too cheer about. But with confidence and form on his side, he can to turn the tables around. KKR, who are in search of an experienced Indian pacer, would be quite interested to acquire Shami.

#5 Royal Challengers Bangalore - Axar Patel

Axar Patel earned a national call-up after becoming the Emerging Player of the 2014 IPL edition. His all-round exploits led the Punjab franchise to their maiden IPL final but he couldn't take them over the line there.

Axar has performed well whenever he got a chance to represent his country at the highest level. He bowls with a splendid economy-rate of 7.5 in the IPL. The left-hander can also be a handy finisher for the Bangalore franchise who have blown hot and cold since the last two IPL editions.

#4 Rajasthan Royals - Rajneesh Gurbani

Rajneesh Gurbani burst into the scene during a stupendous domestic season last year wherein he helped Vidarbha win their maiden Ranji Trophy. The right-arm seamer was immensely praised for swinging the ball on flat Indian surfaces.

He became the second only bowler to bag a hat trick in the final. He has the ability to trouble a lot of batsman with his swing and may prove to be the X-factor for Rajasthan Royals.

#3 Kings XI Punjab - Harvik Desai

The 2018 U-19 World Cup produced a lot of promising stars under the coaching of Rahul Dravid. Players like Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill are talked about a lot. But Harvik Desai has slipped under the radar.

Hailing from Bhavnagar in Saurashtra, Harvik is a hard-hitting wicket-keeper batsman. Such an explosive young batsman is exactly what Punjab need at the moment. His inclusion can be a win-win situation for the Kings XI. A back up wicket-keeper and a hard-hitting finisher should bolster their squad.

#2 Mumbai Indians - Murugan Ashwin

Murugan Ashwin is one of the most talented spinners in the domestic circuit at the moment. He was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants in the 2016 season for a whopping INR 4.5 crore. After an impressive season, Ashwin was retained by the Pune franchise. In 2018, he was bought for 2.2 crore by RCB but his services weren't utilised properly by skipper Kohli.

Mumbai Indians, in the 2018 season, lacked a high quality spinner in their squad. Hence, the inclusion of Murugan Ashwin will help their fortunes in the 2019 edition. Skipper Rohit Sharma, who is a specialist in using spinners in the middle overs, can make the best use of Ashwin if picked.

#1 Delhi Daredevils - Manan Vohra

Manan Vohra is another promising batting talent that was under utilised by Royal Challengers Bangalore. He had been brilliant in the previous seasons for Punjab before arriving at Bangalore.

Vohra can play the role of an aggressive opening batsman in the Power-Play overs and can also adopt a calm head while building the innings. Playing for Delhi Daredevils, he can be a dynamic option at the top of the order.
