Since 2008, the Indian Premier League or IPL has been held annually, and it's given fans all over the world some great entertainment.

The IPL teams are headquartered in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Punjab, Rajasthan and Hyderabad. Each team has created various achievements, with several highs and lows in their history.

Here, we take a look at some of the best and worst records created by Royal Challengers Bangalore, a team led by captain Virat Kohli.

#1) The highest runs scored in an IPL innings (263)

The RCB team has been playing for 11 years in the IPL, but not once has the team won the trophy. But the team has created many landmarks which would be difficult to surpass by any other team.

RCB hold the record for scoring the highest number of runs in a single innings. The Bangalore team scored 263 runs for the loss of 5 wickets at the end of 20 overs with the bat against the Pune Warriors in 2013.

Chris Gayle, who was the highest run-scorer in the IPL in that season, slammed 175 runs in the match.

#2) Lowest runs scored in an IPL innings (49)

The Bangalore team, which owns the highest run-score in an IPL innings, also has the unwanted record for the lowest runs in an innings.

Bangalore lost all their wickets for 49 runs in the match against Kolkata in 2017. All the players were dismissed in single-digit scores.

#3) Fastest century in IPL (30 balls – Chris Gayle)

When RCB scored the highest ever team score of 263, several records were broken.

In that match, Chris Gayle was scored his century off just 30 balls. At the end of the match his score was 175* off 66 balls.

This record seems pretty unbreakable at the moment.

#4) Slowest century in IPL (67 balls – Manish Pandey)

In the 2009 season of the IPL, Bangalore player Manish Pandey scored a 67-ball century in the match against Deccan Chargers. The previous record was held by Sachin Tendulkar's 65-ball century.

In a tournament where quick scoring is of the essence, RCB would have liked for this record to not be in their name.
