Shaik Rasheed is a professional Indian cricket bastman for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Domestically, he plays for the Andhra Pradesh (AP) State Team. Born on September 24, 2004, he made his domestic debut for AP during the Ranji Trophy 2021-22 season against Services on February 24, 2022, at Thumba. He scored 23 and 43 runs in the two innings in his debut game. On October 16, 2022, he made his T20 debut against Nagaland at Indore. He made 37 runs off 27 balls in his T20 debut to win a game for AP. In the same year, he made his List-A debut against Bihar at Alur in November.
Shaik Rasheed was also selected as the vice-captain of the U-19 India team in the 2022 edition, as they went on to win the tournament that season. In the IPL, he started his journey with the CSK franchise in the 2025 edition. He made his IPL debut against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 14, 2025, at the Ekana Stadium, Lucknow. While opening the inning, he managed to score 27 runs off 19 balls in his IPL debut. He also took the catch of Shardul Thakur while fielding.
