
Fernando Alonso is a Spanish racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Formula 1 Championship. For the 2025 season, he drove for the Aston Martin F1 Racing team. Since his childhood, he has been talented and skillful enough to be a racer. Born as a son to a mine shaft explosive factory mechanic and kart driver, Jose Luis Alonso, and Ana Diaz in 1981. Alonso was introduced to motorsport and racing at an early age, as his father was a kart driver.
Alonso began karting at a young age and quickly ascended to Formula 3000. In 2001, he made his F1 debut with the Minardi F1 Racing team. Within five years of his career, Alonso secured his maiden F1 title with Renault in 2005 at age 24. He has raced for top teams, including Renault, McLaren, Ferrari, Alpine, and Aston Martin. With two F1 drivers’ titles, he has also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Dakar Rally, and World Endurance Racing. As of May 2025, he is the most experienced and senior driver on the grid.

FIA Formula 2 Wins and Podiums
