Chelsea set to prepare an extravagant bid for Sergio Aguero
The Blues are being linked with almost every top striker in this transfer window and now it is time for Manchester City's Sergio Aguero to be linked with Chelsea. Daily Star claim that Aguero wants to leave City because of the rising influence of Gabriel Jesus at the club and wants to take on a new challenge.
It is also claimed that Pep Guardiola has given the green light to make this transfer a reality.
Arsenal enter the race for Virgil Van Dijk
After adding Sead Kolasinac to his defensive ranks this summer, Arsene Wenger is keen on further strengthening his back line. Daily Express reports that the Gunners have made a £45 million bid for Southampton's Virgil Van Dijk. But the Saints want over £60 million for their captain and have already rejected a bid of the same amount from Liverpool.
