France, the host nation will put in everything to bring home the prestigious honour and the title of world champions. Not only it'll be a huge World Cup for title favourites and defending champions like US Womens Soccer Team but also for first-time qualifiers like Jamaica and South Africa.

Jamaica has become the first team from the Caribbean to qualify for the World Cup and their comeback story is an inspiration for other small footballing countries to step up.This will also be the first Women’s World Cup to feature Video Assistant Referee, better known as VAR.

Players To Look Out For

Almuth Schult, the goalkeeper from Germany is widely regarded as one of the favourites to win the golden glove. She will be looking to leave a mark as this will be her first World Cup experience.

Nikita Parris will be looking to help the three lions(England) lift the trophy with her widely known goal scoring abilities.

For the defending champions, USA, Alex Morgan and Lindsey Horan would have their eyes set on the Golden Boot as well as at winning the World Cup again and reclaiming the prestigious title.

When it comes to women’s football, there is no bigger name than Marta Vieira. This forward from Brazil is one of the biggest footballers of the past two decades. She has been FIFA World Player Of The Year for five consecutive years. She has also scored 15 goals over all the World Cups she has participated in.
