The record holders and stats of PSL will change drastically with the conclusion of 2020 season of the league, therefore this page will help the visitors to make an easy comparison of the existing and new records.
The record for the most titles of Pakistan Super League is held by Islamabad United, who have won the 2016 PSL and the 2018 PSL. However, the title has changed hands every season and none of the winners has been able to defend it successfully.
The record for the highest total chased in the Pakistan Super League stats is held by Quetta Gladiators who had successfully chased a score of 201/2 put up by Lahore Qalandars on 16 February 2016 at Dubai (DSC). The Quetta Gladiators scored 203/8 in the match. Chris Gayle, Azhar Ali, Umar Akmal and Bismillah Khan had scored half-centuries in the match for their respective teams.
The Quetta Gladiators also hold the record for having defended the lowest total score in PSL. They had scored 136/9 against Lahore Qalandars on 10 February 2017 at Dubai (DSC), but the Lahore Qalandars had managed to reach only 128 runs in 18.4 overs.
Peshawar Zalmi has secured the most victories in the Pakistan Super League. Of the 47 matches they have played in the four seasons of the league, they have won 27 of them and lost 19 of them.
Islamabad United has made the highest total in a season of Pakistan Super League with a score of 238/3. This score was reached against Lahore Qalandars at the National Stadium in Karachi on 9 March 2019. Cameron Delport had scored 117 runs in the match for Islamabad United.
The lowest total in Pakistan Super League has been recorded by Lahore Qalandars against Peshawar Zalmi. The Qalandars scored 59 runs in 10.2 overs at Dubai (DSC) on 12 February 2017. In the match, 5 batsmen from Lahore Qalandars scored a duck, including a golden duck by Mohammad Irfan.
The Quetta Gladiators have recorded the biggest victory in terms of runs in the Pakistan Super League. They had beaten Karachi Kings on 8 March 2018 while defending a total of 181 runs at Dubai (DSC).
Peshawar Zalmi holds the record for securing the biggest victory by wickets in Pakistan Super League. This victory had come against Lahore Qalandars at Sharjah by 10 wickets on 3 March 2018.
The record for the most extras conceded by a team in an innings is held by Peshawar Zalmi who had conceded 23 runs as extras against Islamabad United on 1 March 2019.

The record for scoring the most runs in PSL is held by Kamran Akmal, who has played 47 matches in the league. He plays for Peshawar Zalmi and has scored 1286 runs at ab average of 29.22 with 2 centuries and 9 half-centuries.
Kamran Akmal also holds the record for scoring the most centuries in PSL. He has scored 2 centuries so far, in the 2017 and 2018 seasons of the league, while playing for Peshawar Zalmi. Kamran is also the only player to have scored more than one century in PSL.
Tamim Iqbal of Peshawar Zalmi has the best batting average in the Pakistan Super League so far. He has played 17 matches and has scored at an average of 40.15 runs per inning in the league.
Kamran Akmal holds the record for scoring the most ducks in Pakistan Super League. He has scored 8 ducks in 47 matches he has played for Peshawar Zalmi in the league.
Wahab Riaz, who plays for Peshawar Zalmi has taken the most wickets in Pakistan Super League so far. He has 65 wickets in 45 matches of PSL from 2016 to 2019 with the best figures as 3/17.
Hasan Ali has taken 4 wickets in an innings on 3 occasions, which makes him the record holder for the most 4 wicket hauls in an innings. He has his best bowling figures for 4/15 with an economy rate of 7.20.
The PSL stats state that the record for the most 5 wicket hauls in an innings is held by six different bowlers. Umar Gul, Ravi Bopara, Shahid Afridi, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Fahim Ashraf and Mohammad Sami have all taken one five-wicket haul in an inning, hence are the joint holders of the record. The best figures, however, are held Ravi Bopara for Karachi Kings who had taken 6/16 on 12 February 2016.
The West Indian player, Sunil Narine holds the record for having the best economy rate in Pakistan Super League. His aggregate economy rate in PSL is 6.22 in 17 matches he has played for Lahore Qalandars.
The English player Ravi Bopara had taken 6 wickets for 16 runs in the inaugural season of Pakistan Super League and these figures remain the best bowling figures in PSL so far.
An able fielder, Keiron Pollard holds the record for taking the most catches in Pakistan Super League tournament. He was a part of the league since 2017 and has taken 24 catches in 33 matches while playing for Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi.
Most Matches Played in PSL Kamran Akmal holds the record for playing the most matches in Pakistan Super League. He has been a part of Peshawar Zalmi team since the inaugural season and has played every match of the team, i.e. 47 matches.
Sarfaraz Ahmed has played the most matches as the captain of a team in Pakistan Super League. As of 2019, he has played 43 matches as the skipper of Quetta Gladiators and has won 26 of them.
On 15 February 2019, the Karachi Kings batsmen LS Livingstone of Ireland and Babar Azam of Pakistan scored 157 runs for the first wicket, thereby being the co-holders of the record for the highest partnership by wickets. This partnership also remains the highest partnership in PSL by runs.
Kamran Akmal holds the record for making the most dismissals in Pakistan Super League as a Wicketkeeper. He has 39 dismissals to his name, including 31 catches and 8 stumpings.
