American professional golfer Anthony Kim was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 19, 1985. He turned pro in 2006 after receiving his degree from the University of Oklahoma, and he debuted at the Kiwi Challenge during the 2009 PGA Tour Challenge season. He defeated Ben Curtis by five shots to win his maiden PGA Tour event in 2008 at the Wachovia Championship, where he finished 272, 16 under par.

He was probably at the peak of his career—having achieved his highest OWGR position of No. 6 in 2008 and placing T5 at the 2011 Open Championship, among other things—when he had an Achilles tendon injury in his left leg. His career came to an end as a result; in 2016, he did perform at a few charity events but no professional events. Kim stated in 2019 that he had given up playing golf.

Three-time PGA Tour winner Anthony Kim returned to the game of golf by joining the LIV Golf League following a 14-year break. While there have been rumors about Kim's return since 2021, Greg Norman announced in February 2024 that Kim has become an individual wild card member of the LIV Golf League, initially for three events. He reportedly signed for a $5–$7.5 million signing bonus.

At the LIV Golf Jeddah in 2024, he made his comeback, finishing 53rd with a score of 226 over 16 and winning $50,000. Although Kim was dissatisfied with his score, he was also pleased with the way his game was getting better.

Anthony Kim’s Caddie

Anthony Kim’s caddie is Ryan Todey, as of March 2024.

Kim's early years on the PGA Tour helped to create the tight friendship between Todey and Kim, which has lasted for more than 20 years. Their bond was forged by their mutual passion for golf, and Todey was a member of Kim's self-dubbed "wolf pack," which also included Stephen Ferguson, Chris Armstrong, a former agent, and Brodie Flanders, who caddied for him at the time.

For the wolf pack to dwell in, Kim bought an approximately 10,000-square-foot, $2.3 million home in Dallas in 2009. Todey's job in the Wolf Pack throughout Kim's playing career was to assist him both on and off the course; the three-time PGA Tour winner stated in 2010 that he saw golf as a team sport.

Todey played Division I golf at the University of California, Santa Barbara (USBC), where he earned a degree in geography. He was born and reared in Ventura, California, and is currently employed at Neo Loan Home as a home loan advisor. He also has a partnership with the liquor company Black Market Spirit.

During his six years on the PGA Tour, Kim had several caddies, including Eric Larson and Brain Flanders.
