Jon Rahm is a Spanish professional golfer who gained a massive following in 2023. He was born in the Basque Country of Spain on November 10, 1994, and represents Spain in various golf competitions. He received a golf scholarship to Arizona State University and he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. His 11 collegiate golf tournament victories rank second in school history, only surpassed by Phil Mickelson's 16 collegiate victories.

After a record-breaking 60 weeks at the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking, he rose to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) in July 2020. Rahm, who turned professional in 2016, announced he was joining the LIV Golf in December 2023, marking an end to his PGA Tour stay.

Jon Rahm won the first and only Masters Tournament with a four-stroke lead ahead of Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson on April 9, 2023.
