Professional golfer Megan Khang was born on October 23, 1997. In the 1970s, Khang's parents immigrated to the US with their individual families after fleeing Laos during the Vietnam War. She is the first player of Hmong and Laotian descent to compete on the LPGA Tour.

Khang picked up the sport from her father after being born in Brockton, Massachusetts, and at the age of 14 years old, she earned a spot in the 2012 U.S. Women's Open. As a junior golfer, she participated in the United States Junior Solheim Cup team in 2015 and won the Connecticut Women's Open three times, in 2012, 2013, and 2015.

Khang earned her spot on the LPGA Tour for the 2016 season by finishing T-6 at the 2015 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. In August 2023, in a playoff at the CPKC Women's Open, she defeated Ko Jin-young to earn her first victory on the LPGA Tour in her 191st start.

She has made cuts in 28 of 42 majors and three top-5 and 10 top-10 finishes. She also finished tied for third place at the 2023 Women's PGA Championship.
