Padraig Harrington caddie

Pádraig Harrington, an Irish golfer born in 1971, turned professional in 1995 at 24 years of age. He has competed on the PGA, European, and PGA Tour Champions throughout his career. As of 2024, he is seen participating in the US Senior Open Championship but is still active in the golf circuit. Harrington has been dominating the golf field since the early 2000s, he started off with winning the European Tour Order of Merit in 2006, and then he went on to win the European Tour Golfer of the Year simultaneously for two years, 2007 and 2008.

He went on to win the European Tour Players’ Player of the Year and the PGA Tour Player of the Year both of these prestigious awards in 2008. Then for some time, it was quite a dry season for Harrington but he did come back in the right form in 2022 winning the Rookie of the Year for the PGA Champions and finally, he was inducted in the World Golf of Fame in 2024!

He has achieved so much throughout, but a lot of his fame and winnings are also achieved when you have the best caddie with you. And Pádraig Harrington indeed had that! He had Ronan Flood, his friend and brother-in-law, as his caddie for the longest time.

Pádraig Harrington and Ronan Flood have been a pair since the early 2000s, and they have had a very successful career for over 17 years! Flood previously played golf for University College Dublin. According to Caddie Network, Flood’s greatest golf memory is watching the Masters as a young child.

Flood has been Harrington's caddie in all three major victories, including the Ryder Cup, Masters, and other major international competitions. Flood's and Harrington's relationship goes way back; they used to be childhood friends, and later, they played together at the Stackstown Golf Club, located south of Dublin! Soon, they became family as well; they're now brothers-in-law and married to sisters Caroline and Suzie Gregan.
