US Open 2023: Dates, UK Tee Times, Field Course

The United States Open Competition needs no introduction. The 2023 United States Open is the 123rd U.S. Open, the country's national open golf competition. It's a classic 72-hole stroke play tournament, which will be held on June 15-18th at the Los Angeles Country Club's North Course in Los Angeles, California.

US Open 2023 Date and start time

The 2023 US Open will be hosted at the North Course of the Los Angeles Country Club in Los Angeles. A major tournament has never been held on the par-70 course. The US Open Championship will mark the first men's major to be held in LA since the 1995 PGA Championship!

The US Open will be held from June 15th, Thursday, to June 18th Sunday.

As always, the tournament will have four rounds, with one per day. After the first two rounds, the top 60 players (including ties) will advance to the weekend, while the remaining players will be cut.

The US Open will include 156 players, as previously stated. Tiger Woods will miss the competition after undergoing ankle surgery after pulling out of the Masters in April.

Among the noteworthy names competing in California are defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick, Masters champion Jon Rahm, and PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka.

A.  To be eligible, a player must have a Handicap Index of 1.4 or lower, or be a professional. Prior to "Golf's Longest Day" 103 golfers had locked up their spots at LACC, led by defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick.

A. Entries for the U.S. Open closed in April with a record 10,187 people trying to get their crack at competing in the national championship. The ability of any professional golfer or amateur with a handicap index of 1.4 or less to attempt to qualify for LACC gives the U.S. Open its distinct identity.

A. They allow access to the grounds, as well as entrance to various grandstands. Prices vary by day, starting at $125 and increasing by the day in increments of $150, $200, $275, $285, $300 and $290 for Sunday's final round. No food, drink or parking is included with these tickets.
