Scottie Scheffler is the world's number one player as of April 2024 (non-consecutive 80-week run) after rising to the top of the rankings quickly since turning professional in 2018. He began by winning the Rookie of the Year award on the PGA Tour in 2020 and earning a captain's choice to qualify for the Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in 2021.

He won the Masters, the Players Championship, the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and the WGC-Dell Technologies Matchplay in 2022 and 2023. He also made his second Ryder Cup appearance in 2023, when the United States was defeated in Rome.

Scheffler won the Players Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March 2024; these victories were his second at the tournaments. In the Players Championship, he also made history by being the only player to successfully defend his title.

Scottie Scheffler’s Driver

In February 2024, during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Scheffler continued to use his TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver, despite having played with the new TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver in the past. Golf Monthly, through their tests, discovered that the Qi10 LS and the Stealth 2 Plus—one of the top drivers evaluated in 2023—had nearly identical performance.

Scheffler, nevertheless, carried the normal Qi10 driver for the Genesis Open at Riviera the next week and used it for the WM Phoenix Open. Considerably more in line with his Stealth 2 Plus, it's surprising that he didn't choose the Qi10 LS, which is the favored model among other TaylorMade golfers like Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Tommy Fleetwood.

Scheffler, who has a fast swing, just won his eighth PGA Tour event at the Players Championship with the TaylorMade Qi10. The American likes to use the Fujikura Ventus Black 7 X shaft, and he has eight degrees of loft set on his driver.

Scottie Scheffler’s Fairways

Scheffler kept his previous driver, the Stealth 2 Plus fairway wood, but he upgraded to the newest model for his 3W. The TaylorMade Qi10 fairway wood, which is set at a 15-degree angle and has a Fujikara Ventus Black 8 X shaft attached, is his faiway as of April 2024.

The lower-spin Qi10 Tour fairway wood has both loft and sliding weight adjustability to truly dial in the ball trajectory, while the basic Qi10 fairway wood is the middle option among the three in the range, delivering a mid spin and launch profile along with a fixed hosel. The Qi10 Max model is the one we would recommend for a fairway wood that is more forgiving.

Scottie Scheffler’s Irons

Scheffler's three-and four-irons are two Srixon Z U85s, with the latter iron replacing his Srixon ZX7 model, which has been in the bag for some time. The TaylorMade P7TW's (five-iron pitching wedge), the irons that honor the partnership between Tiger Woods and TaylorMade Golf, complete the rest of his iron set.

In fact, Scheffler's decision to test the irons in the first place was largely influenced by Woods. True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts, a popular shaft type on the Tour, are installed in every TaylorMade iron.

Scottie Scheffler’s Wedges

Scheffler currently carries three wedges, two of which are Titleist Vokey SM8s and one of which is a WedgeWorks prototype.

True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts are used on each of them. The prototype has a loft of 60 degrees, whereas his current SM8s have 50 and 56 degrees.

Scottie Scheffler’s Putter

Scheffler carried a Scotty Cameron Special Select Timeless Tourtype GSS Prototype as his last club, but in 2023 he switched to a TaylorMade Spider Tour X SS Proto. A switch from a blade to a mallet design was made here.

The club was secured by Scheffler at the FedEx St. Jude Championship playoff match, and it appears to be staying as of right now.

Scottie Scheffler’s Golf Ball

Scheffler has been playing with Titleist Pro V1s for a while. These golf balls, which are regarded as among the best in the industry, have a softer cast urethane elastomer cover and a quicker, lower-spin casing layer for predictable flight and spin.

Scottie Scheffler’s Shoes and Apparel

Nike has been associated with Scheffler since he was a student at a Texas university, and some of the most well-known athletes in the world wear their products. The company stopped manufacturing clubs in 2016 and has since concentrated only on apparel and the creation of some of the greatest golf shoes available, like the Nike Air Max.

Scheffler has been playing with a pair of Nike Air Zoom TW Tiger Woods shoes. However, since Woods has now parted ways with Nike, it is unclear if Scheffler and the other Nike players will move to another pair of the best golf shoes available.
