Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Vice City Stories in 2006, and it took players back to one of the series' most iconic locations, Vice City.

Despite this title coming out after Grand Theft Auto Vice City, its story takes place before the events of that game, with Victor Vance, the brother of Lance Vance, serving as its protagonist.

Players have fond memories of this game, but it has its fair share of some incredibly hard missions, like many other titles in this franchise. While they aren't impossible to beat, they gave most players a really tough time.

In this article, we will be taking a look at a ranked list of five incredibly hard missions in GTA Vice City Stories.

5) Boomshine Blowout

Boomshine Blowout arrives pretty early on in GTA Vice City Stories' campaign. Players are tasked with collecting multiple Boomshine crates from Phil Cassidy's burning warehouse using a forklift. It might seem like a simple job, but is incredibly hard to complete.

Controlling the forklift is easy enough; however, the falling debris continues to block paths to the crates as the mission progresses. There is a time limit as well, which makes beating this mission really challenging.

4) High Wire

High Wire is an exhilarating yet one of the toughest missions in GTA Vice City Stories. It tasks players with collecting and delivering shipping containers using a helicopter with a giant magnet suspended from it. Collecting and dropping off the first container is easy, but the next one raises the level of difficulty.

Players must collect the second container from the back of a moving truck. Once that is done, they must fly across the map and pick up their associate's car using the helicopter.

Doing this can be really frustrating since the car is mobile and continues to make turns. Additionally, the helicopter can crash into buildings, failing the mission.

3) Turn on, Tune in, Bug out

The DEA is on to Victor and his brother, Lance, and now he must destroy all police antennas to prevent any more information from leaking. For this, players require a Rocket Launcher, which they can collect free of cost from Ammu-Nation. The antennas are located at the top of various police stations.

That said, players' wanted level increases progressively as they continue destroying antennas, leading to interference from the cops. The mission is timed as well, which adds to the challenge.

It takes players across the map of Vice City, a location that is rumored to return in Grand Theft Auto 6. Rockstar hasn't revealed the title officially, but fans are expecting a GTA 6 announcement this year.

2) Unfriendly Competition

Players are required to take out a couple of drug runners across Vice City in Unfriendly Competition. Neutralizing the first target is pretty straightforward, even though he has some backup. However, it is the second drug runner who raises problems.

He instructs his bodyguards to assassinate Victor as soon as he is threatened by the protagonist. Players must first take out all his guards, who use some of the strongest weapons in the game and fire from all angles, with little to no cover around. When they manage to neutralize all guards, they must chase and take out the drug runner on a quad bike.

1) The Exchange

The Exchange involves a drug deal whose participants get attacked by a bunch of snipers. Players must now take them all out before the DEA arrives on the scene, which is indicated with a timer.

Spotting and neutralizing the snipers is quite difficult since the game's controls are clunky, and the timer drains pretty quickly.

Once players take out all the attackers, they must head back to Ricardo Diaz's mansion while being chased and attacked relentlessly. All of this combines to make The Exchange arguably the hardest mission in GTA Vice City Stories.
