Destiny 2 Revenant Act III will be seeing several changes to the PvP sandbox, where multiple weapons will change in terms of damage, fire type, and more. With the recent December 12 TWID, Bungie listed some of the changes with a mid-January patch, just a week after the launch of the new Act. To summarize, some of these changes are being implemented on Primary weapons, along with a few other gear types.

PvP weapon changes announced for Destiny 2 Revenant Act III

The time for shifting the sandbox meta is almost here, with Destiny 2 Revenant entering a new act soon. Because of this, Bungie will be making changes to the core parts of a few popular weapon types. Here is a list of all weapon types getting changed in Act III:

Heavy Burst Framed Sidearm:

  • Increased body shot damage from 30 to 33.
  • Increased critical hit damage from 48 to 52.8.

Submachine Gun:

  • Increased magazine size by approximately 10%.

Rapid Fire Framed Auto Rifle:

  • Increased body shot damage from 13.5 to 13.6.
  • Increased critical hit damage from 23 to 23.1.

High Impact Framed Pulse Rifle:

  • Reduced body shot damage from 22 to 21.5.
  • Reduced critical hit damage from 39.6 to 38.7.
  • Reduced ADS damage falloff scalar from 1.7 to 1.6.

Lightweight Framed Pulse Rifle:

  • Increased body shot damage from 17 to 20.4.
  • Increased critical hit damage from 31.45 to 31.6.

Lightweight Framed Hand Cannon:

The intrinsic Hand Cannon Precision Frame now reduces the ADS movement speed penalty by 10%.

Lightweight Framed Scout Rifle:

  • Increased body shot damage from 32 to 38.
  • Increased critical hit damage from 64 to 64.6.

Sniper Rifle:

  • Reduced the camera roll component of flinch against players by 20%.
  • Whisper of the Worm: Reduced the camera roll component of flinch against players by 50%.

All these changes have been scheduled to go live on January 14, 2024, a week after the launch of Act III.
