Prosecutor is a Precision Framed Auto Rifle in Destiny 2 that is exclusive to the Prophecy Dungeon loot pool. Players can run the standard or more challenging versions of the Dungeon to get the weapon, along with all the new perks. Getting one of these new Dungeon weapons is fairly easy, as they must be completed from the Rite of the Nine event.
This article walks you through the best perks on the reissued Prosecutor Auto Rifle for PvE and PvP.
Prosecutor PvE god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended on Prosecutor for PvE:
- Chambered Compensator for reduced recoil and increased Stability.
- Extended Mag for increased magazine size by sacrificing reload speed.
- Dragonfly for an elemental explosion with precision kills.
- Voltshot for applying Jolt to targets after reloading on a kill.
Voltshot can be easily replaced with Rolling Storm to utilize the Bolt Charge buff. However, if you want to use this Precision Auto Rifle against something more powerful, go for Attrition Orbs and Target Lock, as both perks will provide orbs of light and damage, respectively.
Prosecutor PvP god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended on Prosecutor for PvP:
- Arrowhead Brake for increased Handling and reduced recoil.
- Ricochet Rounds for increased Stability and Range.
- Keep Away for increased reload, Range, and Accuracy when no targets are near the user.
- Target Lock for increased damage based on the time the weapon is fired on a single target.
Onslaught is a decent alternative in the fourth column, as it can compensate for the low fire rate. However, we recommend going for Tap the Trigger, alongside Zen Moment, as these perks can make it significantly easier for players to land precision shots with laser-like fire stability.
