The Relentless Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine is a High Impact Frame weapon that comes with newer Strand perks and even newer aesthetics. The Pulse Rifle weapon type is quite viable in all activities, let alone a Strand weapon, making the Relentless an important gear piece to have. The High Impact archetype also comes with high base damage and range, making things even easier for its user.
This article lists the best perks for the Relentless Pulse Rifle for PvE and PvP.
Relentless PvE god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended on the Relentless for PvE:
- Arrowhead Brake for reduced recoil and increased Handling.
- Flared Magwell for increased reload speed and Stability.
- Slice for severing targets after shooting by using Class abilities.
- Hatchling for spawning a Strand Threadling with precision or rapid kills.
Tear and Firefly are decent perks on this Pulse Rifle for a bit of AOE, be it utility or damage, alongside Headseeker to provide sustained damage on elite enemies.
Relentless PvP god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended on the Relentless for PvP:
- Hammer Forged Rifling for increased range on the weapon.
- Ricochet Rounds for increased range and stability.
- Keep Away for increased reload speed, range, and accuracy if enemies are not close to the user.
- Headseeker for increased precision damage after dealing body damage for a while.
Lone Wolf can be an alternative option in the third column as a stat stick for accuracy and ADS speed. Rapid Hit, however, is equally good as Keep Away in this weapon, so if you happen to get Rapid Hit instead of Keep Away, keep it.
How to get Relentless in Destiny 2?
The Relentless is a part of the Prophecy Dungeon's arsenal. Of course, players must complete the Prophecy encounters in the Rite of the Nine event only if they want to get the updated version of the weapon. However, another way to obtain it is by collecting Nonary Manifold currencies and then exchanging them at the chest in the social hub.
For Adept weapons, run Prophecy at Ultimatum difficulty.
