Jatin Sahay Saxena was born on 4th of August, 1982 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is a first class Indian cricketer. He is an all-rounder who bowls leg breaks and a right handed batsman.

Debut

Jatin made his debut for the Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji trophy against the Railways on 26th February, 2008.

Rise

Jatin Saxena is a reliable middle order batsman who takes the game in control. He is one of the most experienced first class cricketers in the country.

He represented Kalabagan Cricket Academy in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League in the year 2016.

Low

With age not in his favour, he was dropped on occasions for new entrants. Although with the experience in his hand, his inconsistent performances made sure he couldn't represent the country at an international level.

The already star studded then Indian lineup could not accommodate Jatin for his performances. With 3 years of not being selected by Madhya Pradesh, he moved on to play for Chhattisgarh.

Clubs

He represented Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh in the First class and list A circuit. He Initially appeared for the trials of Rising Pune Supergiant but couldn't make the final cut. He was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for the IPL edition 2018.

Records

He played 22 first class matches and 33 List A matches scoring 964 and 1643 respectively. He has an impressive strike rate of 94 in the List A games along with a century. He picked up 15 and 28 wickets playing first class and List A matches.
