Boyd Martin is an Australian-born American equestrian in the world of eventing. He was born in Terrey Hills, New South Wales, Australia, to Toy Dorgan, an American speed skater, and Ross Martin, an Australian cross-country skier. Martin started his journey in equestrian at Forrest Hills Pony Club and gained more experience at Newcastle Equestrian Centre under the guidance of Heath and Rozzie Ryan. He initially represented Australia and won the 2003 Adelaide CCI4*.
