
Elana Meyers Taylor is an American Olympic bobsledder. She attended George Washington University and was born and raised in Douglasville, Georgia. At the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, Meyers Taylor won two medals—a bronze in the two-woman bobsled and a silver in the women's monobob—making her the most decorated Black athlete in Winter Olympic history.
Meyers Taylor was selected as the 2022 US Olympic flag bearer, but she was unable to attend the opening ceremony because she tested positive for COVID-19. Brittany Bowe took her place.
