Jessie Diggins Coach

Jessie Diggins is a 33-year-old professional cross-country skier who was born in Afton, Minnesota. She first came to prominence at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Diggins, along with Kikkan Randall, won a gold medal in the team sprint, thus becoming the country's first cross-country skier. She has won three FIS Cross-Country World Cups in her career: 2020-21, 2023-24, and 2024-25. By winning the 2020-21 FIS Cross Country World Cup, Diggins became the second American, after Bill Koch, to lift the title.

At the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games, Diggins clinched one silver and one bronze medal in the 30 km freestyle and individual sprint. She won a silver medal at the 2025 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in the team sprint event. As of June 2025, Diggins has won seven medals in World Championship events. She won a gold medal at the 2023 Planica in the 10 km freestyle category. In the same event, she won a bronze medal in the team sprint event. Suffering from an eating disorder, she provides support to the Emily Program, which is an eating disorder centre.

Jason Cork is the coach of Jessie Diggins. He joined the team in 2010 after she completed her high school. He is also the cross-country ski coach for the US Ski Team. Cork shared in an interview that he believed Diggins did not have any standout qualities. Cork said, "She'd won state championships in Minnesota.
