John Jayne is an American Judo Player who is from London. He is one of the prominent faces of the judo community, being the highest-ranked U.S. man in the world rankings, holding the no.30 in the 90kg category. He was also a wrestler for the University of Chicago. He is a citizen of the USA, Britain, and Bulgaria, and has won cadet nationals in both Great National and Bulgaria in 2013; however, he chose to represent the USA on the international stage around 2013, and he has continued doing it to date exceptionally.

Cameron Wood made a name for himself in the judo community since his initial days. He won gold in the Deva Junior European Cup in 2015 and nabbed a bronze in the 2016 iteration of the event. In 2017, the cyclist won two golds and two bronze medals in the Junior Pan American Championships, Arad Junior European Cup, Prague Junior European Cup, and the Paks Junior European Cup, respectively. He also participated in the Junior World Championships and Bratislava European Cup, where he finished in the fifth position. In 2022, the judo player won gold and bronze in the Warsaw European Open and Senior Pan American Championships, respectively.

The 27-year-old continued to solidify his medal tally by winning one silver and one bronze in 2023 in the Tallinn European Open and the Senior Pan Am-Oceania Championships, respectively. In 2024, Jayne won a silver in the Senior Pan Am-Oceania Championships, after which he advanced to the Paris Olympics, which is scheduled to be held from July 26 - August 11.
