Michelle Sechser is an American rower, born on November 1, 1986, and hails from Folsom, California. She attended Folsom High School and the University of Tulsa. She started her rowing career at the age of 13 at the Capital Crew in Folsom, California. She is a one-time Olympian who participated at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and was the fifth at the Lightweight Double Sculls - Women’s event. She won a Bronze medal in 2017 and two silver medals at the 2022 and 2023 Lightweight Double Sculls Women’s events respectively. In 2022 Michelle won a gold medal at the World Cup in Poznan, Poland in the Lightweight Double Sculls - Women’s event and a silver medal at the World Rowing Championships in Račice, Czech Republic.
