Spencer Lee is a Professional freestyle wrestler, competing in 57-kilogram. Lee is undefeated in Freestyle wrestling at the senior level and boasts a 27-0 record heading into the 2024 Paris Olympics. His forfeiture of the match against Nick Suriano in April 2023 is the only senior freestyle match that is not recorded as a victory for Lee. Spencer Lee had begun such domination during his collegiate career, where he recorded a total of 98 wins against 6 losses.

Spencer Lee has qualified to represent the USA at the 2024 Olympics, after not being able to partake in the Tokyo Olympics due to knee injuries. Lee has won gold at the Pan American Championships, two golds in the US National Championships, two golds in the U20 World Championships, three golds at the NCAA Division 1 Championships, and five medals at the Big Ten Championships including three golds.

Spencer Lee was born in Denver, Colorado. Cathy Lee and Larry Lee are Spencer Lee's parents. His mother was a native of France and was an Olympic alternate Judoka. His father also practiced Judoka. Lee attended the Franklin Regional High School and became a freestyle wrestling sensation during his time there. Spencer Lee recorded 144 straight victories before losing his first and only match which stopped him from winning his fourth PIAA State Championship.

Spencer Lee hails from Murrysville, Pennsylvania. After being born in Denver, Colorado, he was raised in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, but the family soon moved to the town of Murrysville. There, he attended the Franklin Regional High School before starting his graduation at the University of Iowa. Lee had a 94.2% winning rate in his NCAA career, won the Dan Hodge Trophy twice, and was a three-time NCAA Champion. He was also only the second five-time All-American from the University of Iowa. Lee was a Three-Time Big Ten Champion and Three-Time Big Ten Wrestler of the Year during his time there.
