#7 Hope Is True - AJ Styles vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35

AJ Styles has carried SmackDown Live on his shoulders for more than two years now and it's fair for him to have his marquee match
AJ Styles has carried SmackDown Live on his shoulders for more than two years now and it's fair for him to have his marquee match

AJ Styles recently lost the WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan, so it looks like his feud with him is coming to an end. As for Randy Orton, he's currently involved in a feud with the Master of the 619, Rey Mysterio.

Orton and Mysterio have been involved in a quarrel for a long time now, so it seems that the two men are ready to move on newer things. AJ and Orton have fought just once since 2016, before WrestleMania 34. Since the two men haven't come across each other.

And as per the Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast (h/t Ringside News), “AJ Styles vs Randy Orton is currently penciled in for WrestleMania 35.” Yes, we might see The Phenomenal One and The Viper locking horns come WrestleMania 35.

Styles has carried SmackDown Live on his shoulders for more than two years now and it's fair for him to have his marquee match at the Shows of Shows, even though he's not holding the WWE Championship now.

Making him fight Orton at WrestleMania will be a brilliant idea. After all, this is the dream match we've all wanted to see since Styles jumped ship to WWE two years ago.

#6 Hope Is Not True - John Cena never turning heel

Cena confirmed that he will not turn heel in the future because this is not who he is
Cena confirmed that he will not turn heel in the future because this is not who he is

Throughout John Cena's run at the top, he has never ever turned heel. This whole time he has remained top babyface of the company. And truth to be told, we may never see Cena turning heel.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet (h/t Sportskeeda), Cena said, he wouldn’t move to the dark side because that’s not who he is and also confirmed that he is indeed a “part-timer:”

Cena confirmed that he will not turn heel in the future because this is not who he is. His on TV character represents his real-life persona.

Seeing what Cena has to say, it looks like we'll never see the dark side of "The Champ". Cena himself has confirmed that there was a time back in 2011 where he was about to turn heel, but due to some unknown reasons, his character change didn't come into fruition.

So, I guess the biggest question of this decade has been answered, "Will Cena ever turn heel?" Nope.

#5 Hope Is True - Daniel Bryan vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 35

It looks like SmackDown will give us another dream match at WrestleMania 35.
It looks like SmackDown will give us another dream match at WrestleMania 35.

Daniel Bryan recently won the WWE Championship by defeating AJ Styles, and his reign as the WWE Champion looking set to be a long one.

As for Shawn Michaels, the last time he was seen inside a WWE ring was last month at WWE Crown Jewel, where he and Triple H took on The Undertaker and Kane in a tag-team match.

Over a long period of time HBK has never failed to give us dream matches, and now it looks like he's about to give us one more.

According to Barnburner‘s No Holds Barred podcast (h/t Ringside News), Bryan vs. Shawn Michaels is penciled for the biggest pay-per-view of 2019.

As Bryan doesn't have any other "big WrestleMania opponent" for him unless The Miz makes his way to the WWE Title scene, so, HBK vs Bryan seems a fantastic match for WrestleMania 35.

After all, we'll finally get to see the two best wrestlers of their own generations taking on each other.

#4 Hope Is True - Matt Hardy to return to in-ring action

Hardy told that he's currently rehabbing due to the unique condition of his spine, and as several months have gone, his condition is better now
Hardy told that he's currently rehabbing due to the unique condition of his spine, and as several months have gone, his condition is better now

Matt Hardy has been out of action for the past few months. He had to take some time off from in-ring action due to the punishment his body has taken over throughout his career.

Initially, it was rumored that Matt Hardy had retired from in-ring action, but as said by the man himself, he hasn't wrestled his last match yet.

During the recent interview, Hardy told that he's currently rehabbing due to the unique condition of his spine, and as several months have gone, his condition is better now. And according to him, he's close to making his in-ring return, sooner rather than later.

Though WWE has indicated Hardy will return to WWE, as it's said by Hardy himself it looks like we might see some deletion soon in WWE.

#3 Hope Not- Bray Wyatt to leave WWE

As Wyatt is famous for taking in riddles, his recent tweets only mean two things
As Wyatt is famous for taking in riddles, his recent tweets only mean two things

Bray Wyatt has not been seen on WWE TV for months and months. The last time he was seen around the WWE ring was at WWE Starrcade where he answered Baron Corbin's open challenge.

Since then there hasn't been a word out as of when he's going to return to WWE, though his return rumors are pretty strong.

During this broadcast of this week's Raw, Wyatt tweeted a couple of times. In those tweets, he said that this is goodbye, and his journey is far from over, eventually teasing retirement. Have a look at one of his tweets.

I have so many things to fix. I realize that I was sick. My mind doesn’t work like other people’s, it gets lost and attached to ideals that are unrealistic and poisonous. My next journey will be to find my true calling. This is goodbye

As Wyatt is famous for talking in riddles, so his recent tweets can only mean two things. One of the two, he's having a character change before he returns to the WWE TV.

The second is, he's retiring from the world of pro-wrestling, which is the worst thing as we haven't seen much of what Bray Wyatt has to offer.

So, all I hope is that he's recent cryptic tweets doesn't mean that he's retiring from pro-wrestling.

#2 Hope True- Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier at WrestleMania 35

WWE wants McGregor in Lynch's corner, while Cormier at Rousey's corner at WM 35
WWE wants McGregor in Lynch's corner, while Cormier at Rousey's corner at WM 35

We've heard a lot of rumors regarding, Conor McGregor making his move to the WWE, but the same has never happened, not yet at least.

While speaking of Daniel Cormier, he has recently confirmed that WWE has contacted him for a commentary role for the SmackDown Live brand.

Though the two men haven't shown any interest to fight inside the WWE ring, especially against each other, according to Joe Peisich of Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast, WWE is trying to land Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier for WrestleMania 35 in different roles other than fighting.

Yes, as Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch are destined to fight in the main event of WrestleMania 35, WWE wants to make it biggest as possible as it is.

Currently, WWE wants McGregor in Lynch's corner, while Cormier at Rousey's corner at WrestleMania 35.

Also, in the past McGregor has teased the same when he tweeted, if Becky Lynch wants any backup then he'll be there.

So, I guess, we might see McGregor and Cormier at WrestleMania 35 not fighting but at least on WWE TV.

#1 Hope Not- Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar is cancelled

Seeing how bad his feud with Dean Ambrose went, it can be called the worst feud of 2018
Seeing how bad his feud with Dean Ambrose went, it can be called the worst feud of 2018

Ever since Seth Rollins started to mention Brock Lesnar's name into his promos, it was speculated that he is the one who will face Brock Lesnar at the shows of shows, WrestleMania, for the Universal Championship.

But according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Rollins might not face Lensar at all. Meltzer said (h/t Ringside News) “Look at Seth Rollins’ booking, it’s like so bad you know it really is. He obviously was being groomed for Brock Lesnar and he’s playing himself right out of that game.”

Yes, be seeing how bad his feud with Dean Ambrose went down, it can call the worst feud of 2018.

Till now Rollins was groomed as the one who'll face Lesnar at WrestleMania but as Meltzer has said Rollins has played himself out of the picture.

Although the rumour has much about to say regarding Seth Rollins status for WrestleMania 35, there's still time left before WM 35 comes around. Maybe in that meantime, Rollins will be able to pick himself up and step-up as a star as he was meant to.
