The life of a WWE Superstar can be pretty stressful at times. One mistake could create a huge impact on their career. Many wrestlers have made mistakes in the past that they still regret to this day, whether it was intentional or not. They might have said (or done) something unacceptable to someone and hurt their public image.

However, most of these Superstars (at one point) realize what they have done and thus, they express remorse for the same. What’s great about them is that they aren’t too shy of admitting it in front of millions of fans on social media.

Most of the time, their apology buries the hatchet with their rival (or perhaps, friend) and things get back to normal between them. In this article, we have presented the names of a few WWE Superstars who apologized to fellow wrestlers.

#5 Booker T (apologized to Sasha Banks)

A few months ago, Sasha Banks and Bayley lost their Women’s Tag Team Championships to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35. Banks and Bayley were upset with WWE’s decision and it resulted in “The Boss” sitting on the sidelines for months before making a shocking return to the ring the Raw after SummerSlam.

If you follow the WWE Hall of Famer's podcast, you probably know about the comment Booker T made about Banks. He said things that some fans believed were too harsh for a wrestler who lost their title in just a few weeks after winning it.

After the former Raw Women’s Champion returned to the ring a few weeks ago, the WWE Hall of Famer realized that he shouldn’t have said those harsh things about her. He took to his podcast and apologized publicly to Sasha Banks and admitted that he shouldn’t have said what he said:

"I did make certain comments though and my thing is, I totally took that the wrong way... She did take some time off, and one of the things I always say is, 'Out of sight, out of mind', ya know?
I can understand what Sasha Banks was going through, and sometimes you have to take a step back if you're thinking about yourself. I just want to say that I apologize for even thinking that way.

#4 Lars Sullivan (apologized to everyone he hurt)

Lars Sullivan

A few years ago, Lars Sullivan said several things about the current WWE Superstars that would have offended anybody. While we're not going to dig deep into that, since the matter is now closed, Sullivan is 100% eligible to be in this list.

Some time ago, his controversial comments resurfaced on the internet again and the Superstar faced backlash from the WWE fans. Talking about his past, Sullivan said that he isn’t the same person he was years ago as his personal beliefs are now different from his past self.

“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”

He also apologized to several wrestlers who he offended by his comments. This matter is now dead and gone and “The Freak” was fined $100,000 by the company. As per a report, WWE’s sponsors weren’t happy with Sullivan's remarks about some wrestlers and it forced the company to fine him with such a hefty amount.

Sullivan is currently sidelined with a knee injury and he’s expected to return in June 2020.

#3 Seth Rollins (apologized to Will Ospreay)

The current Universal Champion Seth Rollins recently got into a Twitter spat with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) wrestler Will Ospreay. In case you didn't know, Rollins challenged anybody to find a wrestler who works as hard as he does. The very next day, NJPW’s “Aerial Assassin” replied to Rollins' tweet where he stated that he had wrestled more matches this year than Rollins. Then, “The Architect” responded to Ospreay with a reply that basically played the money card.

Rollins shouldn’t have said that but he was too stubborn (as he said later) to delete his Tweet after it had been posted for the public to see. However, a week later, “The Beastslayer” apologized to the NJPW wrestler for his recent comments towards him and he admitted that he shouldn’t have compared his bank account with Ospreay.

“After a few days to sit on it, I’d like to apologize to @WillOspreay for the tweet I sent his way about comparing bank accounts. It was dumb of me & not in line with my values. The moment I pressed the send button I knew it was trash, but I’m too stubborn for my own good.”

#2 Braun Strowman (apologised to Brock Lesnar)

“The Monster Among Men” is currently in an odd rivalry with Seth Rollins. Not only will he face him for the Universal Championship at Clash of Champions, but the two Superstars are also going to defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

It has never happened before that rivals had to defend their titles before facing each other at a pay-per-view. Since WWE has booked this match, fans have been speculating about the result. Who will win this match? Will it be Braun Strowman? How about Seth Rollins?

While we don’t have answers to these lingering questions, we have an interesting story to share about Strowman when he and Kane faced Brock Lesnar last year at the Royal Rumble PPV.

During the match, Strowman hit Lesnar with his knee so hard that it made the latter angry and he responded with a stiff punch that landed straight to the side of Strowman's head. When the match ended, Strowman apologized to the former Universal Champion backstage for hitting him hard.

"It is what it is. We got to the back and I said ‘Hey, my bad,' he said the same thing and we went about our business," Strowman told talkSPORT

Even at Strowman's size, Brock is not a guy you want to make angry.

#1 Ali (apologized to Daniel Bryan)

When Ali was moved to SmackDown Live, the fans were happy for the former 205 Live Superstar. He had already proved his worth to WWE during his run in WWE’s third brand and after he became part of the blue brand, Ali received a huge push.

In just his second main roster match, he pinned the then-WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, in a tag team match where he teamed up with AJ Styles to take on Bryan and Andrade.

However, only a few fans know that Ali had botched his finisher, the 450 Splash, and his knee hit Bryan’s throat (which, as per him, wasn’t true and it was the latter’s chin instead).

"Obviously, when that happened anyone that could see, could see that I was like, ‘Holy, I just landed on his face.’ Luckily when we came back, we found out that it was his chin.”

Pro Wrestling Unlimited also posted a short clip of this match where we can hear Ali apologizing to his former nemesis after that botched move.

Fortunately, this little botch didn’t hinder Ali’s push that time and he continued wrestling high-profile matches on the blue brand. However, in February, he got injured by Randy Orton and since then, Ali hasn’t done anything significant, although there's been a series of vignettes promoting him on WWE TV.
