#8 One of the greatest buildups in recent memory

The buildup to the triple threat kicked off way back in 2018
The buildup to the triple threat kicked off way back in 2018

The buildup for the Raw Women's title bout is firing on all cylinders, although the presence of the McMahons could have been avoided. Despite Brock Lesnar's absence, Seth Rollins has been able to build up the Universal title match on his own over the course of the past few weeks.

On the blue side of things, we have an incredible underdog story of Kofi's struggle against the dastardly boss in Vince McMahon. Tag these main event builds along with a solid mid-card lineup, consisting of storylines like Styles-Orton, this year's build is shaping up to be one of the best ones in recent history.

#7 AJ styles vs Randy Orton could be a potential show stealer

We have never witnessed a proper program between these two incredibly gifted athletes. This past week on SmackDown Live, AJ and Orton went back and forth in a segment that got as real as a promo could possibly be.

AJ and Orton are not young, but surprisingly, both of them have what it takes to pull off an instant classic at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Although the Mania card is chock full of matches from top to bottom, this one could potentially end up being the best match on the entire card, much like Angle vs Benoit at WrestleMania 17.

#6 Shane vs The Miz, with the roles reversed

The rivalry that's 7 months in the making

The rivalry between Shane McMahon and The Miz kick-started way back when Shane won the World Cup trophy at Crown Jewel. They went on to win the tag team belts, lose them and finally lose the rematch, which led to Shane turning heel for the first time in more than a decade.

The Miz has turned multiple times throughout his WWE career, and the same can be said about Shane. But when the WWE Universe sees thinks of The Miz, the first thing that comes into the fans' minds is a cocky, obnoxious heel.

On the other hand, Shane is an embodiment of a babyface. He has been getting cheered consistently by the fans ever since he made his shocking return to the WWE back in 2016. He has always backed up his words with his high-flying moves inside the squared circle, and his high-spot maneuvers are always a hit with the fans.

Imagine the kind of reaction this match would get, now that the roles have been completely reversed. Shane's explanation this past week on SmackDown proved that he is more than comfortable with being a heel. A win over The Miz at Mania would only help his new persona going forward.

#5 Batista is more ruthless than he's ever been

Batista has been wanting this match since SmackDown 1000
Batista has been wanting this match since SmackDown 1000

Ever since Batista turned heel on his best friend Rey Mysterio back in 2009, he has been nailing the role of a dastardly heel. His promos have become way more real, often breaking the 4th wall and actually making the fans boo him out of the building.

His attack on a helpless Ric Flair didn't sit well with the WWE Universe, and Batista has finally got what he had been wanting since a long time: a chance to retire Triple H at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

The bout was set this past week on Raw, and is going to be a No Holds Barred match. Although Triple H and Batista have faced off at WrestleMania before, this is a completely different scenario, with Batista being a heel and Triple H being the white-hot babyface. Much like the street fight between The Undertaker and Triple H at WrestleMania 17, this match could be an incredibly brutal encounter between two behemoths.

It doesn't even matter if Angle wins or loses the match. Wrestling Cena in his final match would be the perfect sendoff for Angle.
